I wounder why we have different skin colors? Human skin color ranges in variety from the darkest brown to the lightest white. An individual's skin pigmentation is the result of genetics being the product of both of the individual's biological parents genetic makeup. skin pigmentation in human beings evolved by a process of natural selection primarily to regulate the amount of ultraviolet radiation penetrating the skin and controlling its biochemical effects.

Why do we have different skin colors?


What may cause our skin colors to change? Hyper pigmentation in skin! this is caused by an increase in melanin the substance in the body that is responsible for color. Certain conditions such as pregnancy or Addison's disease (decreased function of the adrenal gland), may cause a greater production of melanin and hyper pigmentation.
